WORLD NEWS: Condom Rage The Silt, Colo., police chief was threatened with the wrath of God after he sided with the employees of a convenience store that sells condoms. Chief Paul Taylor was called to Go-Fer Foods earlier this month on a call about an irate customer. The woman was upset that condoms were displayed in plain view at the checkout stand, Taylor said. The woman claimed the condoms promoted free sex among children and asked store employees to remove them. Employees told Taylor that the woman became angry when they refused her request and said she picked up the condom display and threw it on the floor. Taylor said he tried to calm the woman but she said he would suffer the retribution of God for taking the side of the store. Mary Ann Olson, 53, of nearby Rifle, Colo., was cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct and released on a summons. Olson was been banned from the store, and if she returns she could be charged with trespassing or tampering with evidence, according to police.
