Among those who had done a parachute jump, 10% said they suffer from vertigo.Among the other categories, 26% of people who have been diving are claustrophobic and 39% of those who have tried horse-riding do not like animals.According to the poll, 12% of men and women own up to boasting about adventurous conquests, while 3% have told a "tall story". The survey was on behalf of The Daily Telegraph Adventure Travel and Sports Show 2002, which takes place at London's Olympia from January 11 to 13.Richard Madden, adventure travel editor of The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph, said: "Adventure sport and travel have become ever more popular in Britain as people crave the rush of adrenaline and a sense of achievement."Now it would seem that it's the adventurers among us who have all the sex appeal. But counterfeits beware, with so many of us trying out more and more activities, there is a greater chance of being caught out."The survey was carried out by BMRB who questioned 1,267 adults throughout Great Britain.
