WORLD NEWS: Gang sells dirty water beer with soapy head A gang in Peru has been selling beer diluted with dirty water with soap added to give it a foamy head. Several people in Huancayo suffered sickness and diarrhoea after drinking the doctored home-made beer. Police say there was some beer in the mixture, but it was diluted with dirty water. They're hunting the gang responsible. Delfor Enciso, 30, told the Aja newspaper he bought a crate of the beer for his birthday party. He says he complained to police after finding all the bottles were full of soapy liquid. Police say they've received a large number of complaints, especially from people who became ill after deciding to drink the liquid anyway. Police say those responsible face charges under trades descriptions legislation and with endangering public health.
