WORLD NEWS: Notorious female 'celebrities' prepare for TV boxing match Two women who shot to notoriety in the last decade are due to slug it out in the boxing ring. Paula Jones and Tonya Harding are to star in American television's latest reality show: Celebrity Boxing. Jones became famous for her allegations of sexual harassment by Bill Clinton. Harding was banned from ice-skating for a plot to beat up her opponent. The one-hour special on the Fox network will put the two in the ring for three two-minute rounds as its finale. Jones became famous for telling how she fended off the advances of Mr Clinton when he was governor of Arkansas, and secured a £520,000 payout when he left office after he tacitly admitted her allegations. Dubbed the "trailer-park temptress" by the Boston Globe, she will square off with "skating trollop" Harding. Harding was booted out of the figure skating world when its disciplinary committee concluded she had known about a plot by her ex-boyfriend to beat up rival Nancy Kerrigan. She also has a conviction for assaulting a boyfriend with a hubcap. Around the rope-side will be "ring girls" in the form of Playboy girl Avalon Anders and actress Coco Johnson. The other matches will see a battle of the Hollywood fictional families when Danny Bonaduce, better known as Danny Partridge of the Partridge Family, takes on Barry Williams, who played Greg Brady of the Brady Bunch. And in a more off-beat pairing, former white rapper Robert Van Winkle, who had a hit as Vanilla Ice, will take on Diff'rent Strokes star Todd Bridges, who played Willis. TODAY'S LAME JOKE: Gay Ranch Hand There once was a successful rancher who died and left everything to his devoted wife. She was determined to keep the ranch and make a go of it, but she knew very little about ranching, so she decided to place an ad in the newspaper for a ranch hand. A gay guy applied for the job and was hired. He turned out to be fantastic worker, worked long hard hours every day and knew a lot about ranching.
