Ari dos Santos Tomaz's 19-year-old daughter got married in an evangelical church which forbids its members from having facial hair. Mr Tomaz, 53, is not part of the church and the priest said he could not enter the building, even to see his daughter Tatiane get married. The wedding was postponed for three hours while the family tried to get a permission from the police for Mr Tomaz to enter the God Is Love church, in Raposos. The police registered the complaint but said there was nothing they could do. The bride's brother gave her away to her husband Joao Batista Oliveira instead. Mr Tomaz told Terra Noticias Populares that he intends to sue the church. "The priest was nice to me at the beginning, but then told me I was not allowed to enter the church because my moustache is considered a sin in their religion," he said."I think this is weird because I don't even follow the religion." LAME JOKE FOR TODAY: Two sides to every story Her Side of the Story: He was in an odd mood Saturday night. We planned to meet at a pub for a drink, I spent the afternoon shopping with the girls and I thought it might have been my fault because I was a bit later than I promised, but he didn't say anything much about it. The conversation was very slow going so I thought we should go off somewhere more intimate so we could talk more privately. We went to this restaurant and he was still acting a bit funny, so I tried to cheer him up and started to wonder whether it was me or something else.
