Workers Donate Sperm to Save Factory
TIMISOARA, Romania -- Romanian car factory workers are donating sperm to get their bosses out of the red.
The ARO Campulung plant, which makes off-road vehicles, is said to owe approximately $18 million to creditors.
Workers there are paid £32 (about $50) per visit to the sperm bank which they then donate to the debt fund.
One union leader at the Timisoara plant said: "Our feasibility study shows that if 1,000 workers donate sperm for several months, we'll raise enough for part of the debt."
