Cop and Wife Charged in Auto Eroticism
Michael Musantry says he loves his wife - but not enough to have had sex with her while parked in a Connecticut shopping center. Musantry and his wife, Lynn, will appear in Stamford Criminal Court today over an alleged booze-fueled tryst that led to the cop's arrest. "I'm a family man with five kids . . . I was doing nothing improper," Musantry said. On July 21, the 19-year veteran took his wife to dinner in Stamford and then drove to the parking lot of a secluded mall. When Stamford officers converged on the car, an argument ensued, ending with Musantry busted for allegedly "breaching the peace and interfering with police." Police claim he had his penis exposed, reeked of booze and threatened to beat up one of the cops. Musantry, of the 41st Precinct in the South Bronx, claims that, after the incident, he agreed to resign, as long as he could keep a pension. But the NYPD reneged, he said. The department refused to comment.
