Man arrested for driving van in a gas mask
A man has been arrested in South Dakota for driving a white van on a motorway while wearing a gas mask. Highway police stopped the man in Buffalo Ridge after other motorists raised the alarm. Officers, who had their weapons drawn, handcuffed the man and searched him and his vehicle. Sergeant Alan Welsh said the driver, who was of Middle Eastern descent, told him he was delivering food to a restaurant in Huron. He said: "He hauls food products and he said that the inside of the van sometimes gets quite a smell that he can't bear,and that's why he wears the gas mask." The man's claim that he was delivering food was verified. Troopers also ran a check on the man's name, but found no cause for concern. Sgt Welsh said he was happy with the way authorities handled the situation. He added: "I'm glad to see somebody called that in. I would have called that in myself. It looked very suspicious."

Two elderly women were out driving in a large car--both could barely see over the dashboard. As they were cruising along, they came to an intersection. The stoplight was red, but they just went on through. The woman in the passenger seat thought to herself, "I must be losing it. I could have sworn we just went through a red light".
After a few more minutes, they came to another intersection and the light was red again. Again, they went right through. The woman in the passenger seat was almost sure that the light had been red but was really concerned that she was losing it. She was getting nervous and decided to pay very close attention to the road and the next intersection.
At the next intersection, sure enough, the light was red and they went on through. So, she turned to the other woman and said, "Mildred, did you know you went three red lights in a row...you could have killed us both!"
Mildred turned to her and said, "Oh shit, am I driving?"
