Jack WORLD NEWS:  Thailand To Promote Country As Sex Change Paradise People in Thailand are objecting to calls to promote the country as a haven for sex-change operations. A Phuket doctor wants the government to attract more tourism by promoting the country's safe and affordable 'he to she' operations.But opponents say Thailand shouldn't benefit from the trade.Phuket councillor Suthep Thepsakul says the operations are abnormal and it is wrong for people to think the country could benefit financially from them.Another doctor, named only as Dr Pongsak, told the Kao Sod newspaper: 'I am against using the slogan 'Think about a sex-change - think about Phuket' because there are many other positive things to promote in Phuket such as nature and the life and kindness of Thai people."We should encourage parents to teach their children according to Buddhist law and also give them a good sex education."
