We hope this will make PV contributor's lives a bit easier =) Yours, Jack WORLD NEWS: Scottish Church Launches Sex Guide On Valentine's Day The Scottish Episcopal Church is marking Valentine's Day by launching a book about sex. The church's guide to human sexuality is being sent out to the church's 300-plus congregations. Subjects covered range from marriage and casual sex to homosexuality and divorce. The 100-page book has been prepared by a church panel led by the Bishop of Glasgow - the place that recently re-branded itself the city of love. It is made up of a collection of essays, expressing differing views and written from a range of standpoints. It aims is to spark debate and does not amount to an official policy statement by the church. "There was a growing feeling among our membership that we needed to become a lot more direct when dealing with sexuality," said the Rt Rev Idris Jones, Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway. "Our whole understanding of how we develop and of our sexuality has changed a lot in recent years. But the church has often been stuck with teaching that was applicable some time ago." In the introduction, the authors write: "Our hope is that these papers will help to clarify some of the central issues, and enable reasoned discussion to take place amongst those holding widely differing positions."
