Yours, Jack WORLD NEWS: Hotel staff don't want to miss swingers' convention Staff at a Miami hotel have been given the chance to take time off during a swingers' convention but no-one's taken up the offer. Bosses at Miami Beach's Radisson Deauville hotel gave staff the option in case they were embarrassed. The California-based Lifestyles Organisation is hosting the partner-swapping convention. There are seminars on sadism and masochism and stalls selling fetish toys. Staff have been given a week's training for the event. General manager Donald Dougherty says the golden rule for staff is to beware of Do Not Disturb signs. He told the Miami Herald: "We told them it's an extremely adult-orientated event. and even gave them the option of taking time off if they were not comfortable with it. There were no takers." Lifestyles spokesman Gary Booth said thousands of couples are at the convention which runs until Sunday. He added: "These are not the people you see on Jerry Springer. They are middle to upper class." Seminar titles include Sadist, Masochist, Dominant, Submissive: Are You One of Us? - A Panel Discussion and Systematic Sexuality: An Introduction to Swinging.
